Use of Clients Assets
As a contracted in resource, Provantage will endeavour to supply all the required hardware, software, and other tools required to fulfill the contractural obligations. The exeptions are:
Client Hardware In some situations, client policy will not allow the connection to the client LAN of any un-authorised PC hardware. Such regulations prevent systems being connected that do not have recognised anti-virus software and could pose a threat to the security of the client's system. In this case, it will be the responsibility of the client to provide a suitable PC and software to fulfill the contract. However, Provantage representatives will not alter any of the PC's settings, add new hardware or software, or attempt to repair any faulty part of the system unless the contract explictly says we can. This way, the client can be assured of full functionality of the system, and compliance with current client hardware use policy. Other asset use Mobile phones, fixed phones, photocopiers, faxes, email, etc, will be used only for the purpose of completing the contract. Provantage will provide items such as a laptop, mobile phone, stationery, printer, etc, for the purpose of any Provantage related use. Client Security Under no circumstances will the Provantage representative connect any Provantage owned PC or any other device to the client's LAN for any reason without first obtaining written permission from the client, even if it is for a very short period of time. |
